Learning Objectives

After completing this continuing education activity you will be able to:

  1. Synthesize the evidence assessing the impact of IPV on the victim?s willingness, preference, and use of PrEP among MSM.
  2. Specify how the type of IPV experienced is associated with PrEP use.
  3. Identify where further evidence is needed to guide the development of shared decision-making tools and improving PrEP access and use among MSM experiencing IPV.

Learning Outcomes

By the conclusion of this activity, a majority of the participants will demonstrate knowledge of current research on HIV PrEP focused on gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men (MSM) who experience intimate partner violence (IPV) by achieving a passing score on the posttest.
