Learning Objectives

After completing this continuing education activity you will be able to:

  1. Identify risk factors, signs/symptoms, and relevant findings in the patient?s health history that contribute to the diagnosis of primary amenorrhea.
  2. Describe physical exam findings and diagnostic testing to determine diagnoses for the varying types of primary amenorrhea.
  3. Identify available treatments for various diagnoses that cause primary amenorrhea.

Learning Outcomes

By the conclusion of this activity, a majority of the participants will demonstrate knowledge of assessments, diagnostic testing, and treatments of different diagnoses that can cause primary amenorrhea by achieving a passing score on the posttest.
