  4. Outline practical recommendations used by orthopaedic nurse navigators when optimizing patients with obesity and/or malnutrition prior to TJA.

Learning Outcomes

By the conclusion of this activity, a majority of the participants will demonstrate knowledge of preoperative total joint arthroplasty (TJA) optimization for patients with obesity and/or malnutrition by achieving a passing score on the posttest.
