Description

This learning activity may be used by nurses to review for the Pediatric Certification from the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board (PNCB), which grants the credentials Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), which grants the credentials Pediatric Nurse--Board Certified (PED-BC™). It provides an overview of the evaluation section of the pediatric certification exam based on the exam blueprint. Nurses preparing for the certification exam may find this activity helpful, in addition to the pediatric certification review question bank.

Learning Objectives

After completing this continuing education activity you will be able to:

  1. Describe evaluation of nursing care provided to pediatric patients.
  2. Discuss ethical and legal considerations in pediatric nursing.
