Learning Objectives

After completing this continuing education activity you will be able to:

  1. Identify data from the skin and wound care surveys that address the participants' knowledge of wound therapy.
  2. Choose survey results that reflect the participants' knowledge of wound-related assessment techniques.
  3. Recognize the clinical manifestations of chronic wound infections.
  4. Select survey results that relate to wound prevention guidelines.

Learning Outcomes

Participants will demonstrate knowledge of the results of self-reported survey data from nurses who participated in three skin and wound care surveys by achieving a minimum score of 70% on the outcomes-based posttest.
