Purpose of Activity

To provide information on evidence-based practice regarding the use of electrical stimulation for pressure injury management.

Learning Objectives

After completing this continuing education activity you will be able to:

  1. Apply clinical practice recommendations related to the use of electrical stimulation in the treatment of pressure injuries.
  2. Identify issues related to the use of electrical stimulation to treat pressure injuries.

Learning Outcomes

Seventy-five percent of participants will demonstrate knowledge regarding the use of electrical stimulation for pressure injury management by achieving a minimum score of 70% on the outcomes-based posttest.
