After completing this continuing education activity you will be able to:

  1. Identify a difference between anosognosia for hemiplegia (AHP) and unilateral neglect.
  2. Select characteristics of the Morse Fall Risk Scale and the Visual-Analogue Test for Anosognosia for motor impairment (VATA-m).
  3. Evaluate results from a study exploring the association between the presence and severity of AHP and falls in stroke survivors.

Learning Outcomes

Seventy-five percent of participants will demonstrate knowledge of anosognosia for hemiplegia and falls after stroke by achieving a minimum score of 70% on the outcomes-based posttest.
