Description

The academic electronic health record is an important tool in demonstration how to utilize clinical judgment with a variety of patients in different healthcare settings. Bringing patient cases into the classroom allows students the opportunity to practice recognizing and analyzing cues, prioritizing hypotheses, generating solutions, taking action and evaluating outcomes. Participants will walk through how to create and implement patient cases in a variety of academic settings along with student worksheets. Participants will then experience clinical in the classroom and learn how to utilize the academic health record to further develop student?s clinical judgment, prepare them for Next Generation NCLEX and future practice.
