After completing this continuing education activity you will be able to:

  1. Apply knowledge of febrile neutropenia to the assessment and pharmacological treatment of a patient with this condition in the emergency department (ED).
  2. Identify issues related to the management of a patient with chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) T-cell toxicity.
  3. Recognize a clinical sign associated with differentiation syndrome.
  4. Select pharmacological treatment for a patient with tumor lysis syndrome.
