  1. Identify the work settings of the participants in the study of nurses' perspectives of the barriers to implementation of EHR systems.
  2. Choose the results of the study that might lend insight about the advantages and disadvantages of these systems.
  3. Recognize previous studies that helped inform the authors' examination of nurses' perspectives of EHRs.

Learning Outcomes

Seventy-five percent of participants will demonstrate knowledge of a research study examining the barriers to implementation of electronic health record (EHR) systems from the perspective of nurses by achieving a minimum score of 70% on the outcomes-based posttest.
