Learning Objectives

After completing this continuing education activity you will be able to:

  1. Explain gender incongruence and cultural competence.
  2. Describe the informed consent model (ICM) of care.
  3. Select appropriate GAHT treatments and diagnostic testing for monitoring use in case scenarios.

Learning Outcomes

Seventy-five percent of participants will be able to demonstrate an increase in knowledge regarding gender-affirming hormone therapy (GAHT) for transgender and gender-nonbinary (TGNB) patients by achieving a posttest score of 70% or greater.
