Purpose of Activity

To explore NPs' perceptions of the effects of this legislation and to describe communication between NPs and senior clinicians working in TP states.

Learning Objectives

After completing this continuing education activity you will be able to:

  1. Identify the transition to practice requirements in various states.
  2. Choose the results of the study of NPs' perceptions of transition to practice legislation that lend relevance to future legislative efforts.

Learning Outcomes

Nurses will demonstrate competency in interpreting the results a study exploring nurse practitioners? (NPs?) perceptions of the effects of transition to practice legislation by achieving a minimum score of 70% on the outcomes-based posttest.
