Learning Objectives

After completing this continuing education activity you will be able to:

  1. Participants will identify at least three challenges that need to be addressed to improve vaccination of young adults.
  2. Participants will learn current information regarding a) the critical importance of vaccination against illness, b) barriers to vaccination and c) how to effectively relay correct information to patients, families, and the public.
  3. Participants will discover and apply upstream thinking to health promotion in their area of practice and in their communities.

Learning Outcomes

A majority of the participants will demonstrate knowledge of how to improve flu vaccination rates by achieving a passing score on the post-test.
