Purpose of Activity

To provide information about the creation and implementation of a low-fidelity code blue simulation exercise designed to increase orthopaedic nurses' confidence during a cardiac or respiratory arrest emergency.

  1. Outline the findings from the review of the literature related to simulation exercises.
  2. List components of the low-fidelity simulation exercise implemented in the authors' facility.
