  3. Choose the indications for antibiotics for preventing surgical site infections.
  4. Select the appropriate timing for administering antibiotic prophylaxis for preventing surgical site infections.

Learning Outcomes

Seventy-five percent of participants will demonstrate competency in clinical reasoning regarding antibiotic prophylaxis for patients undergoing surgical procedures by achieving a minimum score of 70% on the outcomes-based posttest.
