  2. Explain the utility of ASCVD-related inflammatory and genetic biomarkers in ASCVD risk stratification.
  3. Describe traditional and proposed risk stratification models for ASCVD.

Learning Outcomes

Seventy-five percent of participants will demonstrate knowledge of the pathophysiology, risk factor classification, and existing inflammatory and genetic biomarkers associated with atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) by achieving a minimum score of 70% on the outcomes-based posttest.
