  2. Summarize steps in the initial management of a patient with febrile neutropenia.
  3. Assess the level of risk for a patient experiencing febrile neutropenia.
  5. Identify interventions to help prevent febrile neutropenia in a patient receiving chemotherapy.

Learning Outcomes

Seventy-five percent of participants will demonstrate competency in clinical reasoning regarding the identification and management of febrile neutropenia in patients undergoing chemotherapy by achieving a minimum score of 70% on the outcomes-based posttest.
